Does anyone know where I can find a used Lowden 010 or a used Goodall Aloha Koa/Spruce? I have tried Elderly Instruments, Buffalow Bros, and The Podium. There must be others out there. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I saw it but I am going to guess that with 12 bids already and 2+ days to go that it will be rediculous near the end. Plus, the seller will not accept a return upon trial...something I insist on. Thanks |

Keep an eye on Cotten Music in N'ville
http://www.cottenmusic.com/ http://www.cottenmusic.com/inventory.html
and
http://www.seriousstrings.com/ here in Guilford, CT. Brian can hunt things down, too.
Kim Sherman at Cotten is also good at hunting things down. Give her a call or email her. My preference is for the minty older Goodalls (original design) from 1999 and earlier. New design ones don't sound the same to me and are made by about 7 or 8 people. Their production volume has skyrocketed over the last 5 or 6 years as they try to become a saleable business rather than a 1 man atelier with nothing but raw wood to sell when James finally retires totally. Appointments aren't as nice either. I located one for another TP'er in days via Kim. N'ville has a major turnover in musical instruments.
Also, there is a classified section at the 13th Fret.

Just be patient, a minty one will show up in a month or 2.

That other TP'er Reid refers to is me, and I just want to publically say mahalo lui noa Reid!
Kim Sherman was great to work with on both ends, as she sold my D-28. Highly recommend Cotten Music.
