You may know Tia for her roles in the blockbuster films... True Lies, Waynes's World and Rising Sun alongside such luminaries as Arnold Schwarzenneger, Mike Myers, Sean Connery, and Wesley Snipes.

Or you may recognize Tia from her own internationally syndicated television series, Relic Hunter, in which she starred as the daredevil professor of antiquities.

You might even have seen Tia kicking up her heels on ABC's Dancing with the Stars.

But you will certainly be amazed and delighted to share in Tia's newest project -- hawaiiana, her album of classic Hawaiian music.

Music has always been Tia's passion ever since she was a child. Reuniting with high school friend, two-time Grammy Award winner Daniel Ho, they have created a record of unsurpassed beauty. Each track features Tia's pristine vocals accompanied by solo slack key guitar or `ukulele. Please enjoy the simplicity and soulfulness of hawaiiana.

"Here I am to share some of my favorite songs from the place I was born and raised and long to return to, Hawai`i."

Doug, you forgot to mention that some of us may know her because she plays Nani in Lilo and Stitch and sings "Aloha 'Oe." This, too, looks like a great album. I will order both soon! Mahalo.

She was also in Byrds of Paradise and that female Indiana Jones type TV series. The name escapes me now. I didn't know she sang.

Lovin' Lee is my favorite pasttime!!

You thinking of "Relic Hunter?"

(Pssst...maybe you should rethink having that big hunka Lee in your signature on every post; takes up a lotta space, you know. Just uncheck the "include your profile signature" box on the reply screen to do so.)

Wow. For a debut CD I really like the conception -- nahenahe. And I love the production -- simple-- only voice and guitar or ukulele. Tia's voice is sweet and Daniel's playing -- well it's Daniel Ho. Just the right accompaniment supporting Tia's vocals.

For those of you who perform singing and playing in an "unplugged" way, this is a great sample of how I would like to come across. (Of course with a male voice.)

I hope there's more to come, and it would be interesting to hear a fuller band behind her. But I would not object to a bit more of this either.
Thanks Tia and Daniel for a fantastic CD.

Should I? Itʻs only $, and where Iʻm going itʻll burn or melt.
