For several years, whenever he was not on tour, Gary worked in James Goodall's shop testing guitars before they were shipped. He played everyone before it went out the door.
Gary told me there wasn't one that was ever a problem. They were perfect.

I thought that Goodall of Patrick's you had for a while sounded like it had some of Gary in it. ( Again, sorry piff...) |

Don, Dusty -- anything Gary would play would sound wonderful! I bet he could take that $20 Harmony I had in small kid time and make it sound good.....well, at least OK. Quality is JOB 1. |

Don, what years did he do this? We spent nearly a whole day with James and Jean in their shop (in the Costco shopping center) in 2000. We may have met him and not known it. There was one guy who was doing final exam and testing setup and he played my old koa Goodall that we brought along. Also, at lunch time, a few of the guys in the shop broke out theirs and started jamming. Maybe?

Reid I'll ask him tomorrow. We are doing final editing on songs for new CD and plans are to have product in hand by end of month. I'm sure we will find a special discount for Taropatch participants.
Wanda you are correct, His playing is incredible, but his voice is equally as incredible with a crystal clear range from bass to falsetto.
A truly awsome entertainer, person, father and family man. |

Plus, don't forget the yodeling! I remember at your show in Henderson, also, how fast his fingers were flying on the guitar. I'm going to send Andy a picture to see if he can post one of Gary that I took at that show. Can't wait til the CD comes out. Is he planning to do any shows locally in the Henderson/Las Vegas area? If he is, that might clinch a decision to take a short trip to the area. I keep getting all kind of deals from casinos trying to lure me back. When Paris Las Vegas had just been open for about a month, I went there and within 15 minutes of being in Las Vegas, I won $32,000 from a quarter slot machine. It was a nice trip. |

We have been approached to play a Sunday gig at a very nice club. It will be every Sunday from late this month through August. Frankly its a chance for the new band to get some experience, so we will probably take it.
These guys are a natural mix.
We are talking about a concert to kick off the CD. But won't have information on that for two three weeks. You will first on the list to know.
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas so by all means if you didn't leave the $32,000 here its time to bring it back.
