Aloha kakou from the hot and dry desert "daboonies" of Kennewick, WA.
I'm pretty much a newbie to this forum, but seeing a few familiar names and personas posting here got me to finally break the ice and hop in the communal hot tub with y'alls. No worry, us boonies guys 'au'au every night too. ;)
Aloha, braddah ed

E komo mai, Braddah Ed. Welcome to Taro Patch. You will find stimulating conversation with many knowledgeable and talented folks (not me - ha-ha). This is a place of much aloha. I like your allegorical "community hot tub". Sometimes the water does get a bit warm...but mostly it is extremely comfortable. My husband (rendezvous1840) and I are in Cleveland, OH -- just an aging haole couple. He plays guitar & banjo; I play on his heart strings.
Anyhow....welcome..welcome. |

Braddah Ed, welcome to da 'Patch! Good to see you in virtual land! I'm glad to see you've stopped lurking for the time being, and look forward to your insights into Island Songs. Hope you to see you and da oddah half soon in 3D. |

Yeah - what Momi said.
Braddah Ed is a fine musician, folks, and a sweet guy to know. If he weren't located so far away (Witness Relocation Program and all that...), every player in the Seattle area would have already met him at kanikapila. And you may yet. I keep pushing. Long drive, though. |

Wanda, I think Braddah Ed is referring to "Mr. Sun Cho Lee," a song done by the Beamer Brothers.
"Miss Momi Lomilomi Got plenty 'experience,' Got plenty experience, She no experience me. And she's just a mean ol' cocktail waitress!"
Ed's pretty kolohe. But I may mistaken. |

Momi - looks like Braddah Ed kolohe, not you! Unless Mr. Retro like you stay kolohe, den OK fo' stay kolohe. Now I go look up da song of da Beamer Bros. Mahalo for educating me. |
