OREGON STATE?!?! WHA...? HAHA.

Hey Kevin, I'm over the mountain in Bend. I lived in Eugene from '75 to '83...still a Duck fan. If you ever get over this way let me know.

You should definitely take up Maggie and Iwalani's invitation to play with their kanikapila group. Those are some very special folks there. Lots of aloha in that group.

Guitars look cool!

What? You mean high "E" is the TOP string. No way dude! That changes everything!

Howzit! Yeah, Manoa Valley is where my heart is. Funny, I spent my first 21 years at our house on Kahaloa Drive before moving to Oregon. We had a big family and we were pretty poor growing up. Our house was all kapakahi and had lots of termites and cocka-roaches. I remember when I was small, in front the house was all cow pastures, and we could spend all day fishing for midaka in Manoa stream, sometimes we get lucky and catch one do-jo. I used to play baseball the on the fields by the elementary school. And when the pool was built, we used to spend all day there. Those were good times. Anyway, my Mom just sold the the old house last year for over 750K! No way can I ever afford to move back...too bad.

You should scout out a recording of Ken Makuakane - "Ku`u Home o Manoa"....."me ke aloha poina`ole, forever more." It is a beautiful song and shows Kenneth's sincere love for his home.

Me ke aloha
