About the album...
Gifted musicians can transport their listeners to another place with their music. In "`Ukulele Journey," Herb Ohta, Jr. goes on a magical voyage... fueled by his creative expression, his love for the `ukulele...and guided by his imagination. With each note picked and chord strummed, he invites you to come along, and willingly, almost hypnotized, you follow wherever he takes you.

From the artist.....
2007 being my 17th year in the music business with six solo, six duets, and countless recordings for other artists and compilations later, it feels as though that my "`Ukulele Journey" is just beginning.
With this recording, my first journey has come full circle. I hope that when you listen to this recording, you will understand my purpose and hopefully I will see you on my new journey. I've learned that respecting, appreciating, and remembering the past teaches me humility. I've also learned that what I learn today needs to be shared for future generations.
