On Dennis Pavao's great CD " Wale No" the author of the song "Mama Mama" is listed as traditional, however on a Hui Ohana LP "From Kalapana To Waikiki", the song is credited to E. Kahele. Does anybody have any more info regarding this song and "E. Kahele". I heard a great story about why the song was written and I just want some info to back it up.

haunts me sleeping and waking."
Mark Twain
