Aloha, My name is Robert, but most people call me Unko Rob. After my wife and kids, my love is Hawaiian music. I have played professionally many years ago, took a hiatus and I am now back in the game.
I play upright bass, 12 string guitar, and ukulele. I took slack key guitar lessons many years ago and would like to get back into it. Also, I totally enjoy any discussion of Hawaiian music. Hey, pick my brain (what little is left of it).

Aloha e Unko Rob! I'm living in Kaliponi now but lived all over Oahu - from Nalo to Makua! Glad your on board. Hope to get to meet you here or in the islands one day. |

Uncle Bob....welcome Eh I knew some guys see if you know any of them. Sam Ako, Larry Kaliloa, and Paul Ah Yo(since deceased but a really great guy). I know others but they are no fun for this kind of discussion.
Eh I just checked out your photo....what you haven't played since they discovered color film???? Which one is you. :-) |
