Eddie Kamae will be live on 50th State Radio at 10AM Las Vegas Time Today.
Joining him will be Gary Haleamau who was one of the Sons of Hawaii with Eddie and Dennis Kamakahi.
What a talk story session this should be.

Don - what great interviews! It was wonderful to hear from Gary, and especially swell to hear Uncle Eddie. And, please tell us more about Lei Day with Dennis & David Kamakahi, Gary Haleamau, et al. I need to know particulars so I can get some airfare booked to Vegas. Don't keep it secret! You got me all excited now.
Thank you for interviewing such precious folks. One can definitely feel the aloha that Gary and Eddie have for each other. Both are such true gentlemen. When Eddie sings Morning Dew on the new CD, it is just so poignant and sweet. I liked that he said it was time he sang it for Myrna after all these years. That's going to be me and Paul...still hun-buns after all these years. |
