I know you guys on the west coast and in Hawai`i have experienced the talents of Kalae Miles, but not so for us further east over here. The big question is: are there any recordings of Mr. Miles? I would love to hear that sweet voice much more.

Yes, he's working on a CD, and those of us who take his workshops here in California really miss him as he is in Hawai'i and we are NOT!
I'm sure we will hear from him soon.
(Added after I heard and saw the video) Sheesh, you're right Wanda, chicken skin! Just a funny story, we played in Kalae's "band" for the Aloha Outrigger Races in Santa Cruz, and so he was accustomed to seeing us here in California. Well, we had to be in Tacoma, WA just when Kalae was going to be showing up at Neeej's house near Seattle for a kanikapila. We made plans to be there without telling Kalae. You should have seen his face when he walked into the door and saw us! He said he could have sworn he somehow ended up in Santa Cruz that very same moment. We had a great time playing and singing together.
Maybe we can talk him into touring in your area when his CD comes out.

| I found a CD on CD Baby, but alas, auwe, not in stock. Yunz musta bought all of the available copies. If anyone goes to any live performances by Mr. Miles and if he has CDs and if you buy one, I will gladly pay you Tuesday for some lovely music today. I think it is important to begin collecting this genleman's music. He gonna be something BIG. In addition to the beautiful voice and nice `ukulele, I feel something from him -- a strength, a great mana, and a sense of righteousness. He is someone to be reckoned with. |

Aloha All! Just wanted to say that Kalae Miles is my good friend. He just finished recording and has a new CD called Ho'opono which is going to be released on April 15.

Aloha! I'm so grateful for all of your kind mana'o (thoughts) about me. I'm very honored and humbled by Wanda's kinds words. Yes, my CD is done and now being mixed. It was scheduled to be released on the 15th of April, unfortunately there were a few things that needed to be be worked on further so it will definately be releasing on the 29th of April instead of the 15th. E kala mai ia'u!
I promise, it will be all be worth the wait. I've been very anxious for it to be released as I know you all are as well, but it has totally taught me more about the title of my CD, "Ho'opono"!

Every time I see this topic, I play the clip 2 or 3 times. Can't wait to hear more, but this is turning into a favorite song. I might steal the CD when Wanda buys it.
