I happened to know they were not in good financial condition because I know a pilot who retired from Aloha as well as several friends who still work there. I've also seen other stories of their problems over the years from time to time. I hope that they will make it through this.....that's an awful lot of jobs at stake.
seems like both hawaiian and aloha both go through ch 11 cycles. It's happened again and again. Hawaii will always be a 2 airline economy, aloha and hawaiian.
