Craig,
thaniks, but, what did you say??? YOu must remember, this is a dinosaur you are speaking with. Actually, I do know this is not a dialup, but aworeless cable deal with an ethernet port. Did i say I was on Mac? Does tha make a difference? Still havent a clue as to what ann MP3 is. tell you what, i will have my 20 year old son jump on here the next day or so and see if he can outsmart this turkey (the computer, not the old man). He's getting into slack key a little anyway, so this can be a good intro for him. So, don't wate a reply just yet, let's see what the boy can do!
Thanks
Karl

Aloha everybody,
Question......how do you guys keep track of where you posted last, in which forum, on what topic? I just ran across this last reply to a querry of mine from over a week ago, forgot I even posted it. Do you check all topics daily, or is there some way to archive your own ramblings so you can see what you said without wandering aimlessly over the site. Not that that isn't fun, but there is this issue of time in the day and the need to practice!

Karl,

Being a kinda makule ole boy from countryside Hawaya--and not really able to run with the youngbloods on the hightech highway (not to mention getting cut off alla time)--I generally go to the bottom of the "Message Board" page to the "Statistics" area and check out the 3rd line, which will read "There are currently 990 topics and __ active topics since you last visited.", with the "active topics" being clickable. Clicking on this will (if you log in and activate your 'cookies') bring up a new page with the topics that have changed since you last visited. I then browse the topics that interest me.

There is also an "Active Topics" link at the top right of every forum page. At the upper left of the active topics page, make sure "Active Topics Since" is set to "Last Visit". Then you can bookmark the page (or set a favorite) and each time you come back to it you will get a list of recently updated topics. The last thing to be aware of is that in the "Last Post" column on this page, there is a little arrow next to the name of the member who last posted to the topic. If you click on this arrow it will take you directly to the last post. (This is especially helpful if the topic has more than one page.)

Bill Benzel has graciously allowed me to post his original song "I Nehinei" at our SoundClick page so head over and check it out when you get a chance. It's a great song and Bill is a very talented player.
