Braddah Jay - welcome! Wanda is not so good. She is only just enjoying life! Your beautiful music makes for part of that enjoyment. Tell us about your `ukulele, Jay. It sounds so very rich and full when you are playing with Sir Duke.
Make sure you relax and talk story with us every so often, and polease post more music. You and Duke have a very rare talent. You make exceedingly beautiful music. And you both look so relaxed at it -- not stressing at all. It must come easy to you.
What you doing up so early in the morning. Go hiamoe.
And E Komo Mai. |
Me ke aloha Malama pono, Wanda |

Yes, welcome to the patch Bradda Jay.
Lotsa good story-talking and even some good info at this site.
One thing to mention is that when you type with ALL CAPS online, it means that you are shouting. Of couse if you WANT to shout something... (like HOWDY!) or ALOHA TO ALL caps (and bolding) work pretty good!

See - Duke and Jay (and Braddah Ed)-- what you are saying about sharing is exactly WHY your music is so good. It takes more than technical capability and expertise on where to put your fingers when. It takes you giving a piece of your heart as well. That piece of your heart is what elevates your music and touches the emotion in us. You both have a rare gift that is so precious. And I thank you for honoring us by sharing it and by coming on Taro Patch. I never have heard Braddah Ed, so I dunno how his music, but I am 'specting it is mighty fine, and I am sure he gives a piece of his heart. Mahalo.
Now you guys goin' make me get wai maka.
Bottom line - musicians who are any good at all first lay their heart out there for all to see. They first touch the emotion in people. The swell sounds come from their instruments are a bonus. |
