Attention LedHeads! There are still seats available for the Torrance show featuring Ledward Kaapana and Mike Kaawa. Kimo West will be opening the show, Puni will be dancing some hula and there will even be a couple of giveaways there so what are you waiting for?
El Camino College, Campus Theatre (in that 1st parking lot you come to when you turn onto Redondo Beach Blvd off Crenshaw). It's a smaller theatre so seats are limited. And don't forget, when you purchase online you get a 10% discount when you use the code SLACKER Led's shows are always packed so if you want to catch one of the great slack key masters in concert in L.A. go to www.SoCalSlackKeyFest.com and get your tickets!
Also, Kimo will be doing an in-store performance at the South Coast Plaza Borders the day before at noon so come show some support for the local talent, too eh! Last time we did this just before the slack key festival, everyone had a blast!
Mahalo and see you there!

That is a great article and interview of Led. I have learned plenty stuff I never knew about him. No better guitar player in the whole wide world, if you ask me. (OK, I know you didn't ask me, but Led is still da bes'). |

Mitch! Thank you so much for bringing such terrific talent to us locally! The show last night was really terrific and it was heartening to see that once again the place was packed. And it was good to see so many folks there - - Sandy and Paul Konwiser who produce the Wednesday shows in Napili, Led's sister Lehua and Chuck; and many taropatch folks who've become friends. Since the show is going north and south, we missed the SCSKS and Santa Barbara folks. We're looking forward to the falsetto show in July. Again, Mahalo nui. auntie nancy |
