Tonight's performer is the multi-talented, island music veteran, Brother Noland (Conjugacion). He's working on a new all-Hawaiian CD and I'm HOPING he'll give us a preview of it!

All of a sudden my connection is having big time problems. |

Thanks again for tuning in.. Noland and the boys were awesome. markwitz, what happened with your connection? We had a huge amount of connections and so far, yours was the only one that I'd heard had problems connecting (we usually get these in our email pakele @ lava.net for those that are having difficulties).
Also, for those that are on island, I'll announce it here first, before anywhere else... Pakele LIVE! is going to become a TV series as of July 2008. We just met with OC16 (who's going HD by the end of the year) and we'll be still doing the live stream Thursday evenings, and going live to tape for and airing on OC16 come July.
I know many of you asked about reairings for past episodes, we hit a few problems/hiccups getting these online and was originally going to be on another site that I am the CEO of as well. Negotiations went crazy and they wanted to try and charge to view these, which is a HUGE no-no with me and this was never agreed upon with all the artists I've had on Pakele Live. Long story short, I resigned, and LavaNet is creating a new international IPTV site which all the eps will be available. More details on this coming soon. |

Aloha Pali! I can't wait till Pakele LIVE will become a tv show because that way I still can watch tv and also watch the live stream too. Congratulations on the new endeavor come July!

Pono - the definition. Thanks, Pali, for doing this with proper regards to the performers and the deals you made (or didn't make) with them. This is what happens when you get artists themselves running the business side - respect for the artists. Far too rare an occurence, but it can happen, and is happening more and more, as the media distribution paradigm continues to transform (Brother, can you paradigm?) |

Mahalo all, and I'm glad it fell through as well, not pono. Period. The webcasts continue on and we're locking in a *long* term contract with all parties involved. The plus with the TV side is being able to catch up through OC16 (and via their webcasts as well), and that we're going with more lighting and a 3/4 camera shoot so angles, and production go up for the webcasts as well.
All the best to all of you and mahalo for the continued kokua and support.
