| When we saw him in May and we were comparing our chest scars at Chai's, he told me that he was starting to feel bad again. He said he was not eating properly and not exercising and he was feeliing nearly as bad as he did before the bypass. He said he could not eat properly on the road. Jeez, he was feeling it coming on. Please keep brother John in your prayers. He has a heart of gold, whether or not it is working good for him. |

Wow, I'm sorry to hear it. I can attest that John is a super nice guy. (We shared a hospital room at Kaiser Hospital in the telemetry unit, not exactly the best way to meet). I wish you the best John! Take care. Where can we send cards etc.?

I haven't seen the Makaha Sons in person yet, but I just wanted to say get well soon John and I'll be praying for you and wish you a speedy recovery.

Yes - I hope this valve thing fixes him up and he feels much better.

| Hope John is feeling better. When I saw him last year he looked great. They were supposed to be back in the Chicago area this year but haven't seen it on their itinerary. |

I received an email from he and Sharlene. They just returned from Japan. He is getting stronger, can breath better, and is on the road to recovery.
