Aloha, My first post to say hello to everyone. I have been reading the posts for a while and finally registered. Instruments are ukulele and guitar. My wife and I have attended 3 camps and are going again in Feb 2009. Clay

Welcome to Taro Patch, Clay. Lucky you to have been to so many camps (shootz, even one is lucky). Well, I've never been to one of the camps, but I betcha that the feeling of aloha which you are bound to have felt there, is the same swell feeliing you will get here. These folks are da bomb. So many talented, knowledgeable, generous, sharing people.
Welcome from Paul and I way over here in Cleveland, OH. |

Hello Clay - I believe I met you both in February 2007 at the Aloha camp, would that be right? I was with my Alison. We both think that it's probably the best thing we've ever done. Welcome, anyway!

Aloha Clay (and Mary) Glad to see you finally came out of hiding. I know what a fine Ukulele player you are and will be a wonderful addition to the patch. I will be on the Island Durring Camp so may get to see you all but attending was not in the stars for me this year.

Aloha! So you said you play 'ukulele and guitar, does "guitar" mean ki ho'alu (slack key)? What camps did you go to? I want to go to Aloha Music Camp so badly.
Happy strumming and posting! |
