Great stuff! I especially enjoyed "Moke Action" and "Ko Alii."

My goal is to be able to play as well as people think I can.

Oh man Hiram, you got me smiling ear to ear with "Moke Action". Very entertaining.
Sugar Plum Fairy was pretty good too.

Finally, the elusive, controversial, misunderstood, kolohe Hiram Bell comes out of hiding . . . .

Nice YouTube stuffs. I was a little disappointed cause I thought you'd be wearing a different hat for each song. And brah, how come you hid your guitar on "Ko Alii"--you no like us guys cockaroaching da licks or what? The look you gave at the end cracked me up.

Next time, show your four-part ukulele arrangement for "Sugar Plum Fairy" that you do with your students. It's awesome!

Anyhow, it was cool jamming with you and da gang recently. You never know where the songs will go but they always sound ono, and we learn a lot, have good fun, and get to share plenty aloha.

Mahalo,

Doug

Thanks guys...
Eh Doug. Not hiding the riffs, just lousy camera angle. And I'll try to wear a different hat each time. Had an awesome time at the kanipila. Excellent group of people for Pete's sake. We should etube Kuu Home Kahaluu together someday. I think you mean the Little Fugue/class version. Mahalo braddah..
Darin... I love your work! tanks eh

I'm not finished writing Ko Alii.

Moke Action is totally improvised, I don't know what I'm doing until it's done. Although, I did string the rhythmic patterns beforehand on the drum machine. The Hendrix riff in the middle was spur of the moment.

Aloha Paani is completely improvised. I named it after I played it.

Sugar Plum Fairy is totally unimprovised.

I'll post more boobtubes soon. I might do an instructional video. What song do you guys want to learn?
