should be fun! i'm playing on Sunday morning, got a couple Japanese songs worked out for slack key in addition to my other stuff and after that will probably play a little with Kimo on the Hawaiian stage. only bummer for me is that i'm on this diet so i can't go nuts on the japanese food there : ( hope to see you folks there!
The listing has me at 3:00 PM and O'ahu at 2:15...It should be the other way around, as I am "opening" for da band with my 15 minute ki ho'alu solo set at 2:15 followed by O'ahu at 2:30... With the band I try and stay in slack-key tunings as often as possible, but there are a couple songs that I switch to standard tuning...
I'm on a diet too, so gonna be hard to resist all da ono grinds... Lost 22 pounds since last summer.
