Please keep my darling Jay in your thoughts and prayers today as he goes under the knife to fix some vetebral problems. This is one guy who has so much aloha and he gives it all away to us. It is time the aloha comes back to him.
Jay - you going yell at Auntie for telling erebody, but Auntie wants all the good wishes coming your way so you can see how many people have aloha for you. No pinching the nurses on da okole, k-den.

Yeah. Somewhere else in TP I reported it - can't remember where (senior moment, again - sigh). The boyz threw a kane for me when I was in Hawaii last Saturday. Braddah Jay was in so much pain that he couldn't play. he has pains shooting down his arms when he plays. He sang as wonderfully as ever, though. He has a ruptured disc between the 2nd & 3rd vertebrae, the same area where I broke my neck December before last. This is a VERY dangerous location. I've been burning incense for him at my home shrine every night since I got back. Prayers, good thoughts, anything to help him along spiritually, folks, are needed. Hey, Braddah - if you see this, quick recovery, eh? |

Jay, Best wishes and get well. Don't try to rush your recovery it can take a while. Main thing is you take care and malama yourself. You'll know when your ready. |

Saw Jay at 9pm Hawaii time about 8 hours post-op.As far as the operation is concerned the surgeon accomplished what he set out to do.It's still too soon to tell if the proceedure was successful. He is still experiencing a lot of unbearable pain in his hands caused by a degenerative condition in his 2nd & 3rd vertabrae. I'll see him again tomorrow and hope to have better news to report. He was very touched to hear of all you good peoples' concerns and prayers and thanks you all very much.
