Hey everyone! Just wanted to say if you are visiting Hawaii or are living in Hawaii here is one event you should check out. It is the 4th annual Hawaii Book and Music Festival A celebration of Story and Music happening this weekend on the civic grounds in historic Downtown Honolulu. And its all FREE!

It starts at 10am-8pm with a free Sunset Concert. On Saturday night the Sunset concert performer is Jake Shimabukuro and on Sunday night the Sunset concert performer is Cyril Pahinui and Kaukahi. I will be there because I will be volunteering and helping out the Keiki Stage. For more information go to: http://www.hawaiibookandmusicfestival.org

Hmmmm... am I crazy? Here is the HBMF schedule:
http://www.hawaiibookandmusicfestival.org/2009/SCHEDULE09.pdf

I could swear the last time I looked at that schedule Darren Benitez and Jimmy Borges were scheduled to perform on Sunday afternoon, but they are not on the schedule at all as of today (May 12). I'm disappointed about that but I'm excited to see Kamaka Fernandez on the schedule. I have been waiting the longest time to see him perform live!
