Well, maybe not SO far- We'll have just left Hawai`i the week before. Too bad no extra week of vacation to detour North between Honolulu and home.
Probably won't have the kala after 2 weeks in Hawai`i.

Not worth the detour just for ME. Now, if we can get some hula dancers to join in, that's a different story...
Gloria's my kumu, Bill's her husband. I played music with them for several years, but we've not been able to get together much in the past year or so - but this opportunity popped up, and our schedules allowed, so... |

| We had a great set - Gloria, Bill, Pat & I. Even though the last time we played together was probably last Christmas season, we fell right in sync with each other from the first notes. That's a nice feeling. (And we did have dancers, too - that always helps.) |
