You do not have to sign up for the class to join in on the kanikapila. Motu Hawaii also sels ukuleles, for those in the San Diego area looking for one. Ric
It's finally here! The long awaited Ukulele class. This Beginning Ukulele class will start on Saturday, June 6, 2009 from 10:00 - 11:30 am. With a Kanikapila Jam Session open to all levels of ukulele players after the class at 11:30 am. It will be held outdoors under a shaded area in front of Motu Hawaii & Ocean's Pizza.
• Cost is $62.00 for a 6-week session • Advance registration is required for the class • Must bring your own ukulele • Handouts will be provided
The instructor will be Frank Leong. Born and raised in Hawaii. Frank has been playing "da ukulele" all his life. He learned from "da beach boys" in Waikiki as a little boy. Since then, "da ukulele" and music has been a life-long passion for him. Call us at Motu Hawaii at 858-272-MOTU (6688) to register.
