I'll have to bow out on the 9th as well...dang it!

My staff decided to hold our office Xmas party on MY kanikapila day...owning your own business just doesn't seem to provide enough clout to be consulted.

Looking forward to the 30th, though!

I say, you fire the whole crew - how dare they, anyway with that said....

Like I told you guys - I'm stuck in Manila through Saturday, actually I think I get off the airplane from Vancouver Sat afternoon and I think my wife will not buy into me going straight to Jean's or maybe I should chance it maybe not

See you all next time....

Aloha,

Hili

I'll be there this time! I'll be coming back from skiing at the Summit, but I'll bring a change of clothes. The skiing is awesome (nut so are the moguls - ugh).

Time for dat remindah again---kani on *5th* Saturday (30th) this month, not 4th.

Also fair warning: kani on 2nd & 3rd Sats next month (so Mark can be with us), no 2nd Sat in Feb (unless you wanna sign up for AMC & join me there )

Aloha,

I just sent you all a copy of Me Ke Aloha Nona (it is very sweet) and some pics too.

Some of your emails wouldn't take the huge file so I had to cut it back for you. I'm not sure how to post the recording here - If I did I would do it. for everyone to hear

I plan to come next Sat if nothing goes weird - like Massive Power loss or snow storm or tornado or whatever.... etc....

Aloha

Got to jam a bit with Hili this afternoon . . . good fun! Also got to hear all the cuts from our recording session . . . we make some very nice music (if I'm allowed to say so myself). I'll be burning copies for everyone and will have them for you on the 30th at Jean's. Let me know if you can't be there and I'll figure out another way to get your copy to you.

I hope you all are enjoying the holidays . . . and I look forward to seeing & playing with you on Saturday!

Aloha All.

Aunty Jean - Mahalo for hosting as usual. Great music, food and memories......

Thanks Doc for copying the disks of our recordings and the great label etc........ - you are the greatest!!!!! I will be meeting with Kory this morning to jam at Kona Kitchen and will surprise him with his copies. Maybe we can play it there.

I think Rich's idea to start keeping a list of our favs and best songs is a good one so that we can practice them in case we want to record those sometime. If you guys like I can ask my friend if he would record us one Sunday - we would have to bring the food and booze.....yeah!

FYI, we tried Radio Hula (big time Slack Key tune) and the vocals are working on it for next time too. Also we played a little bit with Hawaiian Cowboy and a couple others too from the Doc.

Rich's idea was to have around ten songs down cold with front and back ends and all. (not our usual). Anyway good idea.

see you all next time.

Aloha, Hili

Dr. Cookie, thank you for the CD's! It didn't occur to me to ask if we owe you something. Please email me if we can contribute to defray the costs of making the CDs. Thanks Auntie Jean again for hosting!!! Rich (looking for a handle).

If we change the key I indicated the new key with an asterisk. If I don't have the handout or key I put a ?. Thanks Rich
