Aloha e neeej and the gang,
Alas, I have to drive home next Saturday and cannot extend my trip. I forgot about Easter and am bound to be home Sunday. E kala mai for trying to get a jam together then backing out. I'll just need to plan better so I can enjoy some of your himeni onaona.

Great fun . . . thanks for "forcing" us to hold a special session for you, Jesse! It was a perfect kanikapila day . . . sunny and nearly 80 degrees . . . not bad for April in Seattle, huh?

80 degrees OMG! looks like I missed a good one  Sometimes my job sucks. Anyway hope to see you all at the next one.
btw, I was freezing in Korea and now I'm cooking in Manila - go figure!!!!! Off to hawaii next - weeeeeeha!!!!!!

What a fun evening . . . I guess the lu'au tonight qualifies as our first official gig . . . playing about 3 hours of our music for "outsiders" (instead of our usual just playing for each other). Of course, it was only for food and beer instead of mega-bucks, but it sure was one heck of a spread . . . kind of like having our kanikapila professionally catered, huh?
My cousins already called with mahalos for everyone . . . they loved our music, as well as our willingness to play

| More info on the next gig: A graduation party on June 23rd. I'll post more info as I get it. Great fun last night! And Auntie Jean did a beautiful job on our logo which was on display at the gig! |
