I have a gig this Saturday and all the ones in May. June should be better for kanikapila. Jack called me, he's pumped about the Steel Guitar Convention!

Hey gang, I got the official invite for the June 23rd graduation party gig. I've asked for details regarding the venue, etc. and will let you know tomorrow.

Ok Lei Mele, the gig is June 23rd in a church hall in Magnolia. The deal is to do two 1 hour sets with food and beer in between. I'd like to get an idea of how many are available to play by the next kani kapili. Mahalo

The gig required just three or four folks, each with different instruments. I couldn't guarantee it so I begged off on this one. Anyone who wants to pursue this I will give you contact info.

I'm back! The convention was great, and I also hit a lot of clubs/bars and saw a lot of stars, most notably Martin Pahinui, George Kuo and Bobby Ingano at the Moana Terrace at the Marriott. No got much tan, since I was inside most of the time, but I did have a great snorkel adventure at Hanauma Bay. I'll call Kory & see if he wants to the gig with Da Uddah Guyze. Any pay?
