Aloha!
I won't be able to come this Saturday either - auwe - we will be in the Caribbean Sea on vacation. I will take one of my ukes with me to practice though and I hope to be ready for the next one at the end of the month.
Doc - you are such lucky guy.

| We're not likely to make it either; recovering from a week in the Midwest, and lots of hula gigs coming up now. (Speaking of which, I believe our halau is performing at Hing Hay Park this Sunday, 7/9, at Noon.) |

It was great to play & eat with you all once again . . . mahalo for the smiles! Thanks, Jean, for sharing your nice cool music/quilting room . . . and for the yummy custom birthday cake!
Then . . . when I picked Joy up she only had one average-sized Nordy bag . . . so all in all it was a great evening!

THANKS Jean! But, uh - does "bit of a haul" mean driving across the state is too long a trip, perhaps? Forgive me but us Hawaiians (island dwellers all our lives, ya see) have NO idea of real distances!
BTW, how does one know when their posts get responses? Is there some kind of notifying e-mail message we can turn on somehow? |
