Anyone know if they are having that Kahilu Theater event this year? If so, what are dates and who are kumu? I think JJ Junker has run it in the past. They usually have wonderful paniolo families on Sunday.
I spoke with Jan Junker last month, and he didn't know anything definite, as the theater had not asked him yet to organize it yet. Last week I spoke with Robbie P and he told me it is definitely on... however he had little hope that they would get their web site running in time for mainlanders to make their plans. Those of you who are interested in this year's event should try emailing Renee (renee @ kahilutheatre.org) and see if she can't give you the information you need. I will do the same. Last I heard, Renee told me that the dates will be the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th of November. I don't know any more than that. Please post here if you get more details.
