Did anyone in this group attend the Swannanoa Guitar Week in North Carolina last year or is anyone planning on attending this year (July 30-August 5)? Patrick Landeza is going to teach 3 slack key classes and I'm really considering going but I would like to hear from someone who has been before or who knows something about it.

Have not been to this event but have had plenty of lessons with Patrick as have many of the west coast Taropatchers. He is an excellent teacher and has been invited back to this event.
A great opportunity for you folks back there.

I've taught at Swannanoa numerous times. It's a great camp; terrific staff, lots of good late night jams, and a stunning location.
