Aloha everyone -
I don't know if it was the full moon, or all the keiki, or maybe just all the amazing music and dancing lasting into the wee hours every night, but the June camp really wore me out!!
Mahalos to everyone who helped out-- Jean & Susy and Carolyn & Jane for wrangling the ho`ike; Dave and Jim for taking a busman's holiday and helping with sound, to Chris for putting on the open mic, to Aki for helping Tommy with the keiki classes, to everyone who added their voices and talents to the open mic, to the New York posse for all the great energy, to Nancy for kokua with the camp store, to the staff at Kaupoa for unflagging enthusiasm, to our wonderful teaching staff, to the Beamer `ohana... and a really big wet sloppy kiss to Annie, who truly worked her okole off.
I've been looking for someway that we all can share our pix online-- and maybe I found it. Jim Samuelson turned me on to FaceBook (yeah, I know... but it's not what you think.)
I've set up a page and uploaded some pictures. You can look at them (without joining FaceBook) here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=6697&l=98d40&id=673582391
From what little I can fathom, if you join Facebook and become my friend, you can also upload your pix and they'll all show up on the same page. That could be cool, eh? Here's my profile page: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=673582391. Check it out and let me know.
I'll be putting lots more pix up on the camp website any day now, too.
A hui hou!

Aloha kakou!
Cynthia and I attended our third Aloha Music Camp this summer and it was as wonderful as the first two. I'm not much of a photographer but Cynthia is and she has posted some great pictures at:

We hope you enjoy looking at them.

Mark - the pics from Face Book were swell. I would be interested, though, in knowing who is who. I'd like to put names with the faces of any of our Taro Patch `ohana.
I saw the ones on the camp website, also. I love the picture of Julie and da steel geetah!
Don & Cynthia - your pics were great, as well!
Lucky you guys got to talk with Aunty Nona. That is an honor and precious.
Mahalo for sharing the pics. |

All you need is a host computer to store the picture. Then you can go into your profile and link the picture. There are sites that are free where you can store pictures. One such site is http://photobucket.com.
You will need to join photobucket and create an account (it's free). Then you can download your picture from the Aloha Camp website to your own computer and then upload it to your photobucket account.
Photobucket will give you the URL for your picture that you can paste into the space for it in your taropatch profile. |
