I'm looking for someone to provide beginning slack key guitar lessons. I live in Wailuku two weeks out of the month and Sacramento, Calif., the other two weeks. I'm available for 2 - 4 lessons each montht that I'm in Maui. My cellular number is (916) 214-1957. Thanks!

It's not glaringly obvious to me, so I'll ask. Are you looking for students or a teacher? You're too far away to be my teacher, but I'm curious. Thanks. ------------------------------------ (add-on) I just checked your profile, "experienced Shakuhachi player", |

Aloha e Dan,
If you are looking for a teacher, Wailuku is easy. Just look up Kevin Brown when he gets back from Tahiti (look in the other topics for his posts so that you can get some info about him). He taught at Baldwin H.S. for a long time. Also, Uncle Sol Kawaihoa at the Bailey House. Lots of other people on Maui, including Keola Beamer in Lahaina - although, I don't know if he takes beginners. You can also learn lots and meet great people at the Waihe`e jams.
Also, look at all the beginning topics here. Lots of info for beginners.
