Aloha Taropatchers!

Have you heard that Herb Ohta, Jr. is releasing his latest solo CD 'Ukulele Journey just days before his California tour? If you haven't heard him play 'A Thousand Springs', it is magical and a must see live. Herb continues to bring such warmth and soul to his music. His seventh solo CD is a must have featuring new original compositions and an extraordinary list of guest artists; Moon Kauakahi of Makaha Sons, Barry Flanagan, Ledward Ka'apana and Nathan Aweau.

These shows will also feature Slack Key artists and vocalist Jon Yamasato and Ukulele rising star David Kamakahi. Jon was a key member of Na 'Oiwi a group with Uncle Dennis Kamakahi, David and Mike Ka'awa who produced two outstanding CDs. He has also won Na Hoku Hanohano awards for his work with Pure Heart, the group that got Jake his start. David Kamakahi, a young prodigy of Herb's, has been influenced by the great Eddie Kamae, and of course his dad. His first ever solo CD 'Pa'ani' won the 2005 Na Hoku Hanohano award for best contemporary album of the year. If you can catch him playing the blues, which he mixes in with his love of Hawaiian, it is certainly something not to miss!

It will be a first for California to see these three good friends and well accomplished artists all on stage together. Join us for a show and get your tickets today! For more info on these guys, check out our website: www.HawaiiMusicLive.com.

Thanks for always supporting the music and culture of Hawai'i!
Much Aloha and best wishes!
Susie
