Sad but true. The brilliant minds that make up our city council are really showing their aptitude on this one. There is no possible way that they can not call this discrimination against the poor and less fortunate among us who may not be able to keep their bodies clean on a daily basis because they are homeless or are not of sound mind. As bad as their body odor maybe the stink of discrimination is far worse.

hmmmm, maybe we should be directing our comments to our neighbor to the North?

Councilman Rod Tam, a co-sponsor of the bill, explained why it is needed:

"As we become more inundated with people from all over the world, their way of taking care of their health is different. Some people, quite frankly, do not take a bath every day and therefore they may be offensive in terms of their odor."

-----

Just so you guys know, I take a bath every Saturday night, whether I need it or not. I can't speak for my buddy Hiram though, cause I think this was the reason that waitress in Hawaii nevah like come by to take his order.

Eh Dog, now I know why Bev nevah like us jam inside da house. Come to think of it, the aroma got more funky every time a plane flew over the house. I think you sneaky buggahs were letting loose unda the cover of the airplane noise .

It might work in the morning, but after working all day, nobody will be allowed to ride the bus home. Sometimes the best thing is to follow the stupid rules as closely as possible, so the "powers that be" can see how stupid the rules really are. It's the only way they'll ever find out. As a long-time transit system employee, I've seen plenty of stupid go around.
