I appreciate our wonderful forum is a nice diversion from everyday life. Nevertheless, we are compassionate and appreciate there is a world ohana.

In this spirit, I offer a link to help the Haitian people suffering from the earthquake. Paul Farmer is a physician and anthropologist who has devoted much of his career to work in Haiti. His book, Mountains Beyond Mountains is very inspiring.

He organized Partners in Health many years ago. www.pih.org.

Correction. I forgot the book Mountains Beyond Mountains was not written by Paul Farmer, but rather it's about Farmer and the author is Tracy Kidder. http://www.amazon.com/Mountains-Beyond-Healing-World-Farmer/dp/0375506160
