Aloha my fellow taropatchers, I know this post is kind of late. I just have to let you all know that I participated in my very first ukulele competition on Dec. 31, 2009 after just taking ukulele lessons for a little over a year. I had to audition first to be in the competition on Dec. 27, 2009.
Two days later, I got a call from my ukulele teacher saying that I was a finalist in the ukulele competition. The results at the ukulele competition is that I came in 2nd place in my age division. Not bad for a first time ukulele competition contest winner. My ukulele teacher was proud of me for doing it and entering the competition. The competition took place at Wet N Wild Waterpark (formerly known as Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park) here on the island of O'ahu.
Thank you all of you who have supported me here on TP with your advice and love. Keep on jammin' the uke in 2010!
