Waimea Valley Kanikapila videos are posted on You Tube on Abrigoohana's channel.

Here is one to get you started -- Emily Abrigo singing `Alika, Justin Alderfer on a guitar pa`ani, Jack on a steel guitar pa`aina. Sounds nice, nice, nice.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAmkfJjJdxU&feature=sub

From there, you will be able to access all the rest of the fun they had that day. This tiny kanikapila as grown to over three dozen musicians at Sunday's kanikapila.

Long time ago, I told Lanet, if you build it, they will come. And just look. It is in a beautiful venue and it gets bigger and bigger every month.

Me ke aloha
Malama pono,
Wanda

Not only there, but at the picnic on Red Hill, and the get together at Shawns in Palolo, and .... I had to sleep all day today to cathc up! Mahlo nui loa to all of you for taking such good care of me and Thumbs. Alan Akaka spent our time together working on making me sound more Hawaiian - I still got a long way to go! Special mahalos to Uncle Ron & Uncle Braddah for moral support on steel. Aloha

Da good fun.......................das Hawaiian style
Not everybody Hawaiian............das Hawaiian style

Speaking on behalf of all the local musicians who get together to kanikapila & make a special effort when mainlanders are visiting...it's our pleasure. Besides....we're always looking for excuses to put together kanikapilas

Duke

PS: To all you other mainlanders, especially those we have not met yet. Be sure to contact us when you're in town to get a taste of real Hawaii. The invitation is open to each and every one of you(even those I've bumped heads with in the past).....Don't hesitate or be reluctant to give us a holler because...You shame ,you starve.....You snooze ,you lose.

Hoof Hearted?...Was it you Stu Pedaso?

Eh Braddah Duke, I just might take you up on your invite. My wife (the Hula Dancer) and I are planning a trip to O'ahu in June. Maybe we can connect?

Without a doubt Norman, just remind me or Derek (Ho'okani on TP) a little ahead of time and I'm sure we can hustle up BBQ/Kanikapila for you and the wife. And all for just a song & dance.A song from you & I know your wife dances hula because I remember it being mentioned here. At Pakele Live if I'm not mistaken. Emily Abrigo often does impromptu hulas at our kanikapilas and others have too.In fact at our last kanikapila we had a normally quiet & reserved Japanese gentleman bust out a hilarious hula on "Tutu 'E" Then Uncle Ron Kanahele joined him. To me it was the highlight of the kanikapila!!! But seriously Norman we'd love to have you & your wife join us....no strings attached

Life is good when you are married to a Hula Dancer. It will be great to see Lanet and the kids again and also Uncle Ronald, who I had the great honor to spend some time with, at his house during our last trip. I know we will enjoy meeting you and Derek.
