| Eh, Dukie! You da man! I'm still puzzling over it all. I'm compelled to ask myself "Why. Why?" There was a facinating article in the New Yorker a month or so ago about the nature of psychopathy, and the conclusion was that nothing can be done about them except to put them away when they get dangerous. Bernie Madoff was shown as an example. He feels no guilt about what he did, apparently. The end of this for me. Aloha and love to you all. |

| This was a perfect example of Godwin's law. It's amazing how many times this phenomenon manifests itself. Simply stated, if a thread goes on long enough in a discussion group on any topic at all, it will eventually devolve to talk about Nazi Germany nad Hitler. Funny on the surface only. |

Hey Jack & Koa much mahalos for the accolades but none of it is merited. The thread was nauseating & would eventually have resulted in the same outcome no doubt about it. At best, I just helped to accelerate it a bit.
When life deals you lemons.....make lemonade, right? That thread made us all feel violated & amazed that an actual human being could be so racist,demented and filled with hatred. However....it served as a platform where many Taropatch members could reiterate that "The Lo'i" is filled good hearted people. Haole, Hawaiian,Hawaiian at heart, Popolo, Gay, Bolohead....whatevahs. We all created equal & are of one race...The Human Race.
Lemonade for everyone!!!!! When you're here you can rest assured that you're surrounded by good people.

Can you believe we're still talking about him? He's probably happy to see that.
It was a real shame that it went the way it did; the poster in question may have had some interesting and thought-provoking points worth discussing, but they got buried under so much anger that they were quickly lost.
I hope someday he figures out how to deal with his hatred, without assuming it's all the fault of individuals outside himself.
