As Thanksgiving week approaches and we all start to get wrapped up in the myriad of things we need to do to prepare for the holidays, remember you can always take a sanity break by watching a few Hawaiian music videos on You Tube. I surely am thankful for them. When I am doing my chores around the house, I work for a while and then take a break by listening to a couple of videos on the computer. Then its back to my chores. I make the videos a treat to myself for getting my work done! I am also thankful to all the people who cherish music in their hearts and who love it enough to play it and share it with others. Mahalo to all you who malama Hawaiian music for you keep it alive.

Regarding Ben Kaili. I was fortunate enough to have been able to get a copy of his CD "Kaowahi" at the concert. I have been listening to it a lot since then. Truly a great CD. It was nominated for a Na Hoku in 2009. Unfortunately it's very hard if not impossible to find online. But you can get a copy directly from Ben by sending him an email at < b_kaili @ yahoo.com > or calling him at 808-769-9151. It's worth the extra effort to get. |
