Aloha Gang,
Milton Lau has just informed that this year's Slack Key Festival Hawaiian Style will begin on the island of Maui. If you remember, Bankoh used to be the sponsors and since last year Milton's company, Ka Hoku Productions continued with this legacy concert festival series to be held on each island. Last year I had the opportunity to travel with Milton and the cast of Slack Key Masters.......very fun and exciting.
The concert on Maui will be held at the Maui Cultural & Arts Center in Wailuku fro 2pm to closing. The best thing is....it's FREE...Manuahi!!!!
See you all there.....July in Honolulu, August on Big Island...etc...stay tuned....see you there at one of the concerts!!!

I just pau make da contact with one Braddah same name az you on HawaiiMusicians.com! Heh! heh! heh! Cuz.....dis year I stay look forward fo spock you guys "KanikakiBankohkiho'alujammapila" (new big word).
I nevah go last years one, well, I did go...but was late a'ready wen I dakine, decided last minute fo hele down. I had ka-plenty 'tings fo do that day. Auwe! But at least I wen get fo listen to da "Native Hawaiian Band".
Anyways my Braddah! I spock you da two weeks from today! A Hui Hou!

Aloha Kakou,
What a wonderful afternoon - perfect weather, wonderful music, and the chance to see lots of friends and meet a few new ones. I had noted that Jerry Sullivan - jlsulle - had mentioned on this site that he was going, so I looked up his photo to see if I could spot him....well right after we sat down he walked right by us, so I jumped up and introduced myself. Small world! Enjoyed reading his report on the camp.
Great news - this festival had the best turn out I've ever seen!! Glad to see a growing interest in Ki Ho'alu
