Just got the message from John that he will be in the Bay Area in July. His wife, Hope, will be dancing her beautiful hula. This is a must see.

Mahalo Auntie Maria. In my exuberence to see John and Hope again I got the month wrong and corrected it in the original note.
Andy, thanks for the welcome. I also did AMC '02 and '03 and am getting ready for '04 in Molokai.

Hey Jerry,
Some of us just take a little longer to Get It. Hope you're still making sweet music on that beautiful Larrivee.
Hey Lawrence,
Thanks. Give my best to Cynthia

Guess you guys are all going to Maui instead of Moloka`i. Let's talk story and play when we get back

Thanks for the thanks Dave,
I wish we could go to both George's and Keola's events this year !
BUT...
I took a new job and lost over 1 & 1/2 weeks of paid vacation per year.
and.. There are only 1 of the 2 of us working at the moment.
Since we have been going to George's thing from almost the start, and we like the location (Napili & the Mauian), and we had to choose only one Hawai'i trip this year, we decided to to limit it to Maui this year.
The Moloka'i location sure sounds great and we will miss being able to go. I particularly miss Kaliko (and his wry sense of humor (typically British)), Dr. Dave (at the controls again), Nona, Mark, Moanalani and Keola.
I hope to be able to attend Keola's Camp again sometime soon, it is a very very worthwhile event.

Aloha Cathe,
I guess we won't be hearing The Aunties this year. What a shame. I was looking forward to play a little background uke. Dennis Lake is delivering my new one at camp. Chocolate mango back and sides, spruce top and koa bindings. It's gonna be sweeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!
As for recording, yes we will do what we can. It's a little more limiting since there is no AC power and most of the concerts and playing will be outside. I think the mini-discs will do just fine. They're pretty amazing.
Aloha nui loa
