OK, so you can obviously read this if you're not a contributor but the purpose of this topic is to finalize logistics for the CD, so please post only if you've contributed. Thanks.

As of today, this is what I have received or know about for the CD. If you have submitted something and it is not listed here please let me know ASAP. If your song is listed in the "SoundClick Unknown" section please let me know if it can be posted to SoundClick or not. If your song is listed in (or will be moved to) the "SoundClick OK" section please also let me know whether or not you want it downloadable as an MP3...otherwise it will just be available to listen to online). If I don't hear from you one way or another I will just leave it off SoundClick if it's in the unknown section and leave it as a stream only if it's in the OK section.

Finally, if you want your name listed differently than what appears below please let me know also.

Songs are listed in no particular order (CD order will be random). Blue indicates an original composition. Let me know of any spelling errors as this is how they will be spelled for the CD.

Aloha e Craig,

(This is Reid for Sarah - in more than one way :-)

Can you keep "Pa`ani" in limbo for a while? We have been able to contact Brother Noland and have gotten tentative approval, but have not received the paperwork yet. He is apparently very busy right now. "Ka Manu" can be made downloadable.

Mahalo,

... Reid (and Sarah, of course)

OK, list updated with corrections so far. Jaydub...good idea, I've updated those songs I know to be originals to be in blue in the list above. If I missed any, please let me know.

Hi Craig,

My last post before things went haywire here was "are you handling the CDs and liner notes?" Do you need help?

Hopefully the time warp we experienced here did not throw off your ongoing list too much.

I just got an email from Ozzie giving permission to post all the songs of his arrangements to SoundClick...mahalo Ozzie!

Andy...thanks for asking. Sarah is handling the liner notes and has designed a beautiful cover for the CD case...we will have an actual booklet for the notes! I should have no problem handling the songs but will ask for help if needed.

SoundClick permissions are set, song list is now fixed, next up is determing track order and working on production.

If you haven't yet sent me your liner note text please do so ASAP. As a reminder, here's what I need:

Name of song
Original songwriter (if known)
Your name (and taropatch.net user id)
A photo of yourself (optional but nice)
Tuning(s) used for the song
What instrument(s) you played for the song
How the song was recorded, including pickup/mic/effects used
A little about yourself, including:
- How long you've played guitar
- How long you've played slack key
- Why you picked this song to submit

Thanks.
