It didn't change, it's still SCSKS for Southern California Slack Key Society.

Actually Rik belongs to the WPFFS (Will Play For Food) Society which is a sub chapter of SCSKS. He has a non profit set up so local cafe owners can write off the food.

Rik have you considered taking the WPFF sign off your guitar case or getting a hair cut.

Our merry band of players will be at L&L tonight, Keith said he'll attend. Hopefully Michael, you and Craig will stop in. Puaho will be attendence as well.
We are socially disturbed, but in a nahe-nahe way. ha.

p.s. maybe Henderson Nevada slacker's will get an L&L and Don will feel at home. :-)
p.s.s. of course the food will be free, which makes me happy...yumm

Last night's L&L Kanikapila was very nice. In attendence were: Dusty & Sheila, (and their friend, sorry I forgot her name), Brudda Ken, Bill & Vicoria, their friend Mona, Keith (who sang very nicely by the way), Puaho, and myself.
I didn't play so well, (I accidently brought the wrong brain or something) but the rest of the gang played great. Everybody was in top form playing a very strong cross section of great slack key standards. (I will eventually learn Hawaiian titles) Food was free and yummy.
Keith thanks for the pictures, Dusty thanks for the tabs.

p.s. when I got home I worked on those songs I crashed & burned on, and also got up @ 4:00am to practice some more. hopefully next time will be better.

Our friend's name is Carol. She lives just around the corner from those six houses that are slipping down the hill in Oceanside - quite near L&L.
The pictures were great, Keith. Mahalo.

Anyone know both parts to Keola's Akaka Falls? I'd like to be able to play a duet. He has it tabbed in two parts in his and Mark's Book. Really easy to play -- really! First -- I have to be in town . . . working on it.
