Aloha kakou -
Just wanted to add my personal mahalo to all the folks who came to the concerts in Shoreline, Kalama & Eugene - and tell you what a joy it was to meet so many folks that I've only known from this (and other) forum(s), or get to see in person very rarely.
Thanks to the folks who assisted at each venue, and to every one of you who told friends and spread the word around (especially after the last-minute venue change in Eugene.) Plans are already developing for more tours.
Of course, Charlie, John & Dennis (and Hope & Craig) were a joy to be around, especially considering how much they did, over and above, to help us overcome tech & travel hassles.
Special moments for me included the trio's mini-concert for us at work (which led to their first-ever performances all together), the great stories told (both on-stage and off), the special ceremonies in Kalama, the kanikapila in Eugene - and of course, being invited onstage in Eugene to sing and play bass with these great masters.
(I've also been told that there are still a few of the commemorative "Kalama Days Of Discovery" t-shirts available, for $15 each. Contact the folks at alohaislandtreasures.net to get them.)
Thanks, everyone - you made us feel very special and very welcome. =Gregg=
