Thanks to my teacher and friend, Patrick Landeza, I will be part of a live radio broadcast on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM Pacific time. The program will be broadcast on KMUD, Garberville/Humboldt County community radio.

KMUD has a live streaming link at http://www.kmud.org, click on "Listen Live" at the top of the page and follow the guidance from there.

Host JJ will be celebrating 8 years of "The Coconut Wireless" Hawaiian music program on KMUD. I'll be playing some tunes live in the studio, responding to interview questions, and hanging out while JJ talks story and spins disks. Hopefully it will be a lot of fun, since I'll be driving about 5 hours to get there and 5 hours back.

Naturally I'll post updates if anything changes.

Thanks, Patrick!

Fran

Too Good Fran, KK say Awright! Us too.

Now, talk story about Beamers and P. Moon and family traditions, and Fran answers about secret tunings and he speaks well.

Live from Hamden CT, we ARE Hawaiian Song WebRadio.

(OK, we will cut the silliness - but it is fun being live.)

Most Excellent Fran! You are soooooo smooooooth, both with the playing and with the commentary. You really make the music breath, the way it's supposed to - never rushed, always appropriate. Pua Sadinia could have been Uncle Ray in the flesh. And not ONE clam in the whole show, unbelievable!

Hope we didn't freak you out with the X-Country High Fives, but we were watching a static screen, and we figured that, since we were wired (yuk, yuk), why not? And then Kevin did the same, which put a cap on it.

Ua Ho`omaika`i,

Reid and Sarah
