From the Makaha Sons Newsletter:
Whittier, September 22, 2007
The Sons are currently traveling to the East Coast for their appearances over the next week, but have asked us to let those of you on the West Coast know about this weekend’s concert at Whittier College’s Ruth B. Shannon Center For The Performing Arts. The Sons have helped to organize this weekend’s concert that will be featuring Natalie Ai Kamauu, Aaron Sala, and Barry Kimokeo and for those of you that can make it to the college, tickets are still available. Join these musicians as they present an evening filled with some of the most talented voices and instrumentalists Hawai‘i has to offer and they will be joined on stage by hula dancers from California.
If any of you will be in the area, please try to attend this performance and experience the beauty of sight and sound offered by Dave Palmer and the crew of the Ruth B. Shannon Center. We will be posting the January dates for the Sons’ return to Whittier to the calendar very soon and we will be sure to let you all know through our newsletters. http://www.shannoncenter.org/
