What an amazing edge-of-the-seat game and if the 'Bows aren't headed for a BCS bowl game than the world must be flat!

Watching the game here in Washington, I called my mom in Hawaii after the first quarter when the 'Bows were down 21-0 and kiddingly told her "We win either way 'cause we're Washington residents now!" Of course I would never abandon them!

Aloha,
John A.

U-N-D-E-F-E-A-T-E-D !!!!!!!!!!

Wat an awesome comeback! Brennan fo Heisman fo shua. He made da state of HI proud. I tink I wen hea fo da first time, at da end of da game, by one of da ESPN commentators ... UH deserves to be in a BCS game!

We'll find out tonight. WOW. I'm still so stoked. Coming back from 21-0, afta 3 fumbles, I know 2 of em coming afta passing da 1st down marker. Imagine if we neva make those! Fo shua UH would have won be 14 or 21!

Eh John, once a Rainbow ... always a rainbow no?

If can, can. If no can, no can.

Wow !

What an incredible comeback. The game didn't end till after midnight here on the West Coast. But it was well worth staying up to watch.

Yes, and you can add my name to those who still refer these guys as the Bows !

Michael

I got to watch it on ESPN replay last night. Now I understand why it was such an exciting game. Wow, they dug themselves a real hole, and Washington almost scored at the end. LLLLLLOOOOOOOTTTTTS of drama.

What? You mean high "E" is the TOP string. No way dude! That changes everything!

I'm glad you got to see it Kurt!

Anyone know when they decide who gets the Heisman? I guess I was never concerned much about it until now! There was also a great article on Colt Brennan in the October 8th issue of ESPN magazine. I never knew he came from a somewhat troubled background. Take a look if you can get hold of a copy.

John, I read that article a month or so ago while sitting at the dentist. That's what piqued my interest in the Warriors this year...had to check this guy out. According to the article he sure seems to have found a home, both on and off the field. They are an exciting team to watch...much like my Ducks before their Heisman hopeful got injured.

Kurt:

I heard about them mainly from my Mom, who is a huge fan. Of course I could only watch them if I happened to be in Hawaii or the last several games that were televised on ESPN2. In between I started checking the Honolulu Advertiser and Honolulu Star Bulletin web sites for information.

I have a good friend who is a structural engineer in Hawaii that went to college in Corvallis (don't remember the team name) but their arch rivals were the Ducks. Who was their Heisman candidate who got injured?

Aloha,
John A.

Eh, Joka! Tanks man! Nex time if I can, can. If I no can, den no can!

Seriously, mahalo and I'll have to check it out. I wasn't aware of that. I see you're in Woodland, CA. The last time I was there (around 20 years ago) it was a nice small town. We were on the way to Lake Tahoe and we stopped there to meet a friend for lunch. It was a nice sunny day but we got hailed on! What's it like now?

Aloha,
John A.

You guys should check out the Honolulu Advertiser blogs. The Warrior Beat blog averages about 500+ post a day. Advertiser writer is Stephen Tsai and he has a loyal following of posters (characters) that named themselves the Tsai-kos. Warrior mania is nuts right now. Check out the blog and you'll see what I'm talking about.
