Thanks, 808bk. I have been reading The Warrior Beat so I know what you mean!

Sidebar: I see that you live in Mililani.......I designed most of the homes there for Castle & Cooke while I lived there.

Oh well. I guess Colt Brennan was in third place for the Heisman Trophy. They still had a great season though and hopefully one more win to come!

I tink Colt neva had a chance fo win ... UH jus neva have da strength of schedule like Tebow had. He's still DA MAN! I tink someone from ESPN wen call him da "Prince of Hawaii"

Let's keep cheering him on ... a win ova Georgia would really put UH on da map.

If can, can. If no can, no can.

I didn't like all that smack talk that June Jones did about Tebow on ESPN. I know the Heisman is a lot about politics and he was just trying to make Brennan look good and draw distinctions, but he didn't have to down Tebow in the process. I think Tebow is a great QB in a tough conference and deserved it.

I tink Jones was jus trying fo stand up fo Brennan. Look at all da schmack talking da country was doing against Brennan in da final couple of games of da season. Ya, in da end, it's all politics.

If can, can. If no can, no can.

That's really true, Joka. For whatever reason, Hawaii did not get the respect they deserved right down to the end. As for Colt Brennan, maybe it's good for his career that he DIDN'T get the Heisman. It seems that recently no Heisman winner has gone very far in their career after winning the trophy.

Aloha,
John A.

Any New Yorkers... there's a UH Alumni Association - East gathering if you want to root amongst other Warriors (Bows) fans. http://www.halawai.org/node/173

I am looking forward to this game. It won't completely answer the question "what would have happened if UH had a stronger schedule?". They almost lost the WA game at the end, so it will be interesting to see how they fare against a team widely regarded as being much tougher. That said Georgia definitely has to take them seriously. It should be a good game.

Okay everybody, I hope that you're all sending your good vibes to the Warriors in New Orleans today! We are sooooo looking forward to watching them play later today! I have to admit that I don't know much about Georgia other than what I've heard a few others repeat. I'm just hoping that the Warriors can relax and play their own brand of football that got them there in the first place.

Aloha,
John A.

It was fun getting a group of people together to watch the game. Must have been a first to have a UH t-shirt clad crowd waiving their ti leaves in a NY sports bar. Sadly, it was a tough one to watch.
