Thanks for the info.
I am trying to plan our trip to Oahu and the Big Island starting Nov 1 2008
Just kicking back and listening to ki ho'alu and maybe a workshop or two.

We checked into the Hilton last night and the changes here are the major topic of conversation. We walked around all evening waiting for some kine entertainment actually we would have been happy with anyting at that point. But there was NOTHING. Not sure what management is thinking. Build BIG new tower for Vacation Sales cut back on things for people to do HMM makes some kine sense to somebody somewhere I guess?????? Just not us. Ah well we are her till Friday Afternoon than back to reality.
Not dare to complain been a wonderful break!

Make sure you see Na Kama if you can. They are very, very good.

Bummer to have to come home, Nancy. But you'll just have an excuse to look forward to the next time.

Woo-hoo. I love that Barry Kimokeo. What amazing guitar playing. He is the second coming of Ledward. What I mean is Barry is the younger generation's kolohe, fun, innovative, talented, amazing guitar player, singer extraordinare and all round nice guy. Of course, Hoku and Jerry ain't bad, neither. Should be a great show.

For rock and roll canʻt beat Piranha Bros. Say hi to mike the bassist and lead singer for me. He knows me as Al. Get Midweek Magazine. List almost everyone playing somewhere for the whole week. Not all music is at the Hilton but you knew that. BB Shawn was at Shorebird last time I was there. It is in walking distance of the Hilton. The House Without a Key at Halekūlani always has somebody playing. Some nights got Hiram Olsen one of Hawaiʻi best rythm guitarists. You gotta look look under svery rock but they are there somewhere.

No'eau, eia au he mea pa'ani wale nō.
