A Launch Benefit for I Ho’ili Kamali’i, sponsored by Kona Brewing Company

Come celebrate with Makana at RumFire, the hottest oceanfront club in Honolulu! Makana and friends perform with tons of special guest musicians, followed by the down tempo grooves of DJ Mr. Nick.

This event is also a launch benefit for I Ho’ili Kamali’i, a new project started by Makana to bring music back into schools (more info below). Featuring a raffle drawing with thousands of dollars in awesome prizes from some of Honolulu’s top artists, restaurants and businesses! Show your support for music in schools by purchasing raffle tickets at the event, and also through tax-deductible donations to I Ho’ili Kamali’i via the Forward Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All proceeds to benefit the charity. Raffle tickets available for purchase upon entry. Must be present to win.

Hawaii’s own international recording artist and slack key star Makana launches a charity to bring music back into schools: I Ho’ili Kamali’i, which will focus on bringing unique music experiences into schools, acquiring instruments for students, and creating direct opportunities for them to interact with the musicians of Hawai'i.
