Stacey,
Thanks for a wonderful kanikapila and for posting the pics and captions; I could almost smell the plumerias and yellow ginger! (So, Julie, how do you say "gezuntheit" in Hawaiian?) Your food was wonderful and I'd love a copy of your fried rice recipe. Too bad we didn't succeed in getting Cody to howl for us... Mahalo for such a joyful day in good company!

Stacey, You beat me to it on the pictures and what a great job. My pictures are a lot of the same so I will not post them. You covered all the bases. Looking forward already to the next get together at Cathe's place in Mill Valley. Mahalo again

Aloha taropatch Ohana!
I'm so glad everyone's enjoying the photos from our Kanikapila!

A red clarinet!?! Boy, am I behind the times.
Isn't that Red Clarinet HOT? Hee Hee, you're not far behind! In just the past few years they started making Clarinets White, Purple, Lime Green, Light Blue & Dark Blue. You can even get Cherry Flavored Reeds. Man, these kids got it rough! My daughter also has a 3/4 sized Amigo Classical Guitar tuned to taro patch, but she's showing more interest in 'ukulele.

Julie ~ Mahalo Plenty for the 'ukulele chord sheet!!!

Did ya happen ta get 1 of me? I was da photographer in all those.

Diana ~ Mahalo for your recipe! I swear, you could win a prize with that!!!

Slackkey Bill ~ Mahalo for the compliments on my yard and landscaping. You know, the yard was an RV Parking Lot when we moved in here. We've done A LOT! You're welcome anytime, Slackkey Bill! Ed was jus tellin' me about jammin' wit you guys in Waihe'e Valley & it sounds Awesome! I hope to take you up on your kind invitation someday. Oooh I gotta practice, A LOT!!! I hope that everyone who's going to the Maui Camp, can hook up with ya.

Aloha!

Hi Stacey, I did notice that your daughter's eyes lit up when she looked at those cute little ukuleles. NOW is the time to get her a practice one, and get some simple chords down. All it takes is an interest and a little shove. I bet someone in our group would love to spend an hour or two with her to teach her basics.

I also took some photos, but with an SLR and I will finish the roll (of film) soon. I get CDs made when I get them developed do then I'll email them to you if they are OK. Aloha, Julie
